SkinPressive Skin

To have Skinpressive skin there is a couple of things you need to do. Here are the steps needed to accomplish that..

Step One-Cleanse your skin

-cleanse with a pH Balanced face wash (not dove or body soap). This will strip your skin from all its natural oils leaving your skin vulnerable and open for bacteria to enter, water to evaporate and free radicals to attach and start to cause aging.

Step Two-Tone your skin

-toner is pH balancer.  This will make your products penetrate better.  it hydrates your skin and protects it against free radical damage. Toners should NOT consist of any alcohol, it should be water based with added active plant extracts and natural acids.

Step Three-Specialty products

-this will be a product that works on any of your skin conditions namely an eye cream, anti aging serums, brightening serums, hydrating serums, and anti oxidant serums

Step Four-Moisturize

-pick a moisturizer suitable for your skin type.  It is always a good idea to use a thicker moisturizer at night.

Step Five- Broad Spectrum Sun protection

-depending upon your life style, reapply SPF if you are spending extended hours in the sun (the SPF in your foundation is not sufficient enough!!!)

Last but not least-The Most Important Step In Skin Care..

-Exfoliate your skin NO LESS than 2 times per week!! This needs to be done after cleansing. If you don’t exfoliate your skin at least 2 times per week, you might as well not do any of the above steps. Dead skin cells are like roof tiles that does not let any products penetrate into the deeper layers where they are needed the most to prevent aging.

So when you are applying all of your serums and moisturizer they are plumping up dead skin cells making your skin feel good for an hour or two but it will not penetrate to reverse, repair and prevent damage.  I ALWAYS tell my clients they might as well dump all of their products down the drain if they are not willing to exfoliate because that’s exactly what is happening.

Exfoliation increases blood circulation and prevents your skin from looking dull and lifeless.

To much of a good thing is not a good thing.  Do not exfoliate more than 3 times a week.  This can sensitize or over stimulate the skin resulting in numerous unwanted skin conditions.
